The car has been logged and scanned for td1 and we are clear.

I will be reflashing the car this coming week with different stages and octane's. With dyno proof.

Initial turbo claims are being processed by VW in most instances due to the known defect , modded or not.

Not dismissing your claim or story, but i have found this the norm with most turbo claims.

That's not the case at the branch where our car has been.
Many many guys have been flagged by td1. We were warned when we took the car in.

If it is then well done guys!

I think VW give you some leeway for smaller claims but do the full scan when its a big claim (gearbox, motor etc.)

You wont know until this happens...

why would a billion dollar company cancel td1

it helps the company save millions if their vehicle is modded and breaks and they have to fit the bill.

they safe guarded themselves by implementing it and spent millions on creating td1 and now want to shoot themselves in the foot

On a TD1 note, flash to factory stock before dealer visits and you won't have an issue.

I don't think there's any files that are safe when doing big warranty claims. If they dig deep enough they will find something

It all sounds great but then surely you would be confident in giving clients a guarantee. Not saying you are lying but nothing has been said untill it is in writing.
