Wow, never in my life have I experienced such disgusting service from a "company" I ordered an exhaust cutout for my Golf GTI about 2-3 months ago, product was delivered, plugged it into my car to test and it was dead. Sent Karl a message he said he will replace the unit tomorrow. Tomorrow came and there was an excuse as to why he couldn't make it, next day another excuse and the next, and the next. A week later I get the replacement. It works, happy days. I ask Karl for an Invoice for the product I purchased. He just reads the message. This goes on for about a week and a half. I call him he says he will send it today (he didn't). Got the invoice 2 weeks after I asked for it. Well done!
Yesterday I was driving home and all of the sudden the exhaust made a weird noise, I pull over immediately and check it out. The electric motor that turns the valve has fallen off. I immediately messaged Karl as this is a clear factory fault. Convo below...
Video from chat
As you can see in the chat, it was installed at Powerflow Exhausts, the place he recommended There is no visible damage on the unit itself, car is stock height so I don't see how a speed bump could cause damage
Upon removing the unit I noticed the the electric motor was not not secured to the housing using screws but was rather glued on
Karl is says that the unit came with screws, it didn't and even if it did why would I remove them?
