Yeah remember the days from Upsolute Chip.
If anyone asks me where to get turbo parts or repairs I usually first indicate to stay away from Turbo Direct.

That's no surprise coming from him. He'll take legal action if you look at him a bit skew.
If you're behind, you're slow. If you're in front, you're in my way.

but eish...this turbo direct ou is really swak. I have heard MANY complaints about this oke. I would never take my stuff there. And now I heard he was selling fake products to customers. Place with such bad name should be out of business. Period.

Guess what, two years later and nothing changed. I purchased a brand new gtx2867r from them. Complete and ready to fit as per our telephonic conversations. I went to collect and the lady was "bragging" about the preassembly and i was quite chuffed about the service....NOT. Two weeks down the line they demand that I pay for the actuator and actuator bracket that they by "accidentally" put on and was not supposed to come with the turbo. Yes I paid R21090.00 for it - now they want an additional R1800 for the actuator and bracket - to strip and refit everything, is going to cost more. I am sorry, i am not going to stand for this. It seems like they sell you a preassembled, ready to fit product, wait so that the customer can fit it, then play the card..sorry we gave you parts that we assembled and you didnt pay for it.

What a joke

How are these guys still in business? Rommies - that sucks. Was there no one else that you could have bought your turbo from? Are you 100% sure its original.

Iv also been tempted to buy from them, they the cheapest by far at selling garret products and even the garret website states that turbo direct is a main supplier for garret in s.a .... But stories like this and many others make me think twice .... :?
