Advice needed : ABF Flywheel

Hwzit gents

Need some assistance please.

I fitted an ABF Fly to my 1.8t Golf 4 and now the starter wont line up.
Any1 had this issue and how did you resolve it?

only 2 things will cause that problem.

either the flywheel diameter is in correct if it is a conversion you have done or the number teeth on the ring gears are different

also a height/thickness difference between the 2 flywheels

Issue resolved, used a TDI starter, now to get through the 1000km 'run in' before i can make some power.

so there is definitely a difference with depth or teeth on the ring gear

ring gear is the same, depth was the problem.
