Hi Guys

I currently us the following and have some questions:

2. Wash Mitt and Drying Towel.
http://www.crazydetailer.co.za/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=12&products_id=1110
3. Car-Chem Tyre & Trim
http://www.crazydetailer.co.za/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=8&products_id=1061
4. Dna Wheel Creme
http://www.crazydetailer.co.za/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=8&products_id=1085
5. AUTOGLYM - Metal Polish
http://www.crazydetailer.co.za/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=13&products_id=74
6. AUTOGLYM - Super Resin Polish
http://www.crazydetailer.co.za/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=5&products_id=54
7. Collinite - Liquid Insulator Wax #845
http://www.crazydetailer.co.za/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=6&products_id=995
8. Collinite - Sapphire Leather & Vinyl Treatment Wax #855
http://www.crazydetailer.co.za/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=9&products_id=579
9. Fine Detailing Clay - Refill 100gr (AUTOGLYM)
http://www.crazydetailer.co.za/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=14&products_id=773
10. Meguiars Quick Detailer
http://www.autostyle.co.za/car-accessories/car-care-cleaning/meguiars-quick-detailer.html?gclid=CjwKEAjwmf6-BRDi9fSN7Ijt1wUSJAASawcjyHWRQ2jxvNEoowPQu4UdTlfeBWh18KyO-oYeyaQAKxoCAJ7w_wcB
11. SONAX Glass Cleaner
http://www.autogeek.net/sonax-glass-cleaner.html
12. Quality, clever hosepipe that makes your life easier
http://www.tevo.co.za/product.aspx?pid=45

I do have some other products that I can't think of at this time.
I also have a lot of different applicator Pads and Cloths labeled and used for its purpose only.
I wash using the two bucket method.

What products could I replace with something better than what I am currently using?

Whats the best way to clean the rims? I find this takes a lot of time using the wash water and a microfiber cloth.

What can I use on the seats, Dash and Trim weekly that will not remove the Collinite - Sapphire Leather & Vinyl Treatment Wax #855 ? I just want something to lift the dust and also clean any dirt that the vrow left behind :fight:

I see some people use an attachment at the end of the hosepipe, is this beneficial?

After my long drive this weekend and the rain in Johannesburg, the car was extremely dirty, Mud every were was driving me crazy, so I gave her a wash in the rain as my neighbors were looking at me weirdly, this was the result :drunk:

She still needs to be Clayed, Polished and Waxed but holding back till I know if there are better products I should use or if what I have now is fine :thumb:

The Collinite and Autoglym products are tops. I also like car shampoo from CarChem, I think you have all the needed stuff to make the paintwork pop.
Do you use a wheelbrush for cleaning the mags and an applicator for the rimwax?

I use a Microfiber Cloth only and the left over shampoo water, Its a bitch of a job with the Microfiber Cloth as you have to get into every groove and rub it hard.

Get a wheel detailing brush, much easier and effective

What about the Interior? Are there options for quick detailing the cabin?

This stuff is amazing and leaves that matte finish inside your car without making it smell like a whores handbag

Now, why were you smelling her hand bag? :argue:

Will look into this, Will it not remove the Collinite?

I have added the following to my collection and wanted some advise on the best way to us it:
13. AUTOGLYM - Car Interior Shampoo - 500ml
http://www.crazydetailer.co.za/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=9&products_id=50
14. AUTOGLYM - Active Insect Remover - 500ml
http://www.crazydetailer.co.za/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=4&products_id=51
15. CarChem Iron Contaminant Remover REVOLT 1 Litre
http://www.crazydetailer.co.za/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=8
16. ValetPro - Dash brush (Natural hair)
http://www.crazydetailer.co.za/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=21&products_id=912
17. CarChem Luxury Shampoo Concentrate 1L
http://www.crazydetailer.co.za/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=4

And For Sonic6 I got:
CarChem Luxury Shampoo Concentrate 500ml
http://www.crazydetailer.co.za/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=4&products_id=1033

I am Keen to know whats the best way to use the Iron Out? I want to use it on the paint and windows, I see some people use it as lube for the Clay and some ensure they do both as 2 separate steps.

13. AUTOGLYM - Car Interior Shampoo - 500ml - unfortunately i have not used this product so i cant comment but once i clean my interior, i just d a general wipe with a fibre cloth and a quick vacuum with a slight brush ( carpet brush) on the carpet.
http://www.crazydetailer.co.za/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=9&products_id=50
14. AUTOGLYM - Active Insect Remover - 500ml - never used this however from what ive read insect remover are harsh and if used, spray let it dwel for a while then power hose and re-apply a spray wax.
http://www.crazydetailer.co.za/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=4&products_id=51
15. CarChem Iron Contaminant Remover REVOLT 1 Litre - this is a very harsh product and due to that fact should not be used alot on your car..... maybe once a year.
http://www.crazydetailer.co.za/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=8
16. ValetPro - Dash brush (Natural hair) - this is to clean all the dust in the air vents, just a fine brush after ever interior clean should do the trick with this brus or maybe every 3rd or 4th interior wash.
http://www.crazydetailer.co.za/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=21&products_id=912
17. CarChem Luxury Shampoo Concentrate 1L - this shampoo i love, the dilution ratio is lovely, and recommended use is with warm water( try not to over use shampoo as it will just be a waste, more doesnt necessary mean better. i use 15ml(5ml more that the prescribed dilution) in 10 L of water which is more than enough for one car and obviously the 3 bucket method ( 1 for Rims, one for the car and one for the clean water)

oh and make sure you shake the Iron Out for about 20/30seconds before use.....

this product can just be sprayed on the whole car.... eg... paint, windows, rims....etc ( dont leave any stone unturned  .... you get my drift.... just not the interior :like:

another spray wax you should consider is a Optimium Spray wax (this is about R250) and applied after EVERY wash to help layer that protection on your car :thumb:
